Off To See The Wolff Cubs!

Just a real quick blog…First of all, our youngest grandson, Maddox Isaac Wolf turned 2years old on Sunday…We didn’t attend the birthday party, as we are leaving Thursday morning to go see them in Zionsville, IN.  Chris and John are flying out to Boston on Friday AM…John is running in the Boston Marathon next Monday, April 15th…(my theory is that some of those runners are trying to outrun income tax day Winking smile!)..At any rate, McGyver and I are on deck for baby sitters until next Tuesday, when the adult Wolffs will be back home in Indiana…We are soooooo proud of you, John….RUN, JOHN, RUN!

maddsbday

Madds with his Toy Story birthday cake…lovin’ the hat!

I want to welcome The Fletchers to our blog…Art and Tammy are full time newbies, spreading their wings in the Hoosier National Forest, Hardin Ridge Campground in Indiana…We are headed their way, but won’t get that far South…They are really a fun read and if you haven’t jumped in their truck with them, I would advise it!…

Dennis and I have been trying to grab every bit of warm weather we have had to clean up our yard and get our Spring and Summer stuff out!!

I spent a good share of time raking up pinecones from our Blue Spruce out in the front yard..and got the much loved screened front porch cleaned of Winter dust and dirt…We soooo enjoy that screened porch….On the docket this Spring is replacing some screens (McGyver put a ladder through one last Fall…McGyver Who???), and we (I didn’t volunteer for this duty!) will be painting the trim on the entire porch…This requires some ladder skills…This is one of the reasons I married a firefighter, right?

Got the patio table and chairs up and ready…the firepit is now on our driveway (we don’t have a real patio)…and our cherub is waiting for some sunshine to charge the solar light he is holding…His arm could get real tired!

So, as you can see, our lives are busy…You may have noticed that my blogging has slowed…priorities…We are taking our laptop to Zionsville with us, but not sure if it will allow me to blog…Our laptop is 10 years oldSurprised smile…and our desktop is operating on VistaThumbs down…Are we behind the times techno-wise??…DARN RIGHT WE ARE!!Confused smile…Hopefully we will address this  problem…So, if I don’t get a blog published from Indiana, you will know why…I may have to find a place in Chris and John’s back yard to bury the ‘ol laptop…either that or I just might get the urge to throw it into the campfire!!…No matter what, I am sure that those two boys, ages 4 and 2, will keep us busy…walking to the park, playing outside, going down the slide, watching Disney channel (luckily John has a TV in the garage, which is where McGyver will sneek off to so he can watch The Masters)…and I have a feeling that when the boys go to bed at night, Dennis and I will FALL into ours!!! Pray for us….
