Our First Cave-a-Palooza of 2013…WHEW!!

This weekend was our first of many Cave-a-Paloozas this year…As usual, it was a huge party…a conflagration of kids, adults acting like kids, beverages Winking smile, Pull-Ups, pacifiers(for some of usNyah-Nyah), fire pits, dueling remote helicopters, homemade donuts and pizza, grilled chicken….and a gazillion toys…It looked like a toy box threw up on our living room floor…

Kelly brought his newest toys (even though he is 42 years old)…remote control dueling helicopters….He and Peyton had a “dogfight” in our dining room with them….

You might notice my vase of silk flowers on the dining room table in the middle bottom photo of the above collage….I seems Kelly’s helicopter got a little too close to one of those flowers…

….it is now just one of the “casualties of war” in our dining room….clipped right off at the stem…….Confused smile  . I am setting up a meeting with the helicopter crew…They might be “grounded” as a disciplinary action from the Chief Command.., which is MOI!!!

Here are a few more pics from the weekend…

Yes, I realize this blog is mostly pictures…but sometimes one picture (or in this case, 38) is worth a trillion words…I do believe this is one of those times…Rolling on the floor laughing

After a fun and busy weekend, one where, at times, I felt like I had been run over by a Mack truck…(could it have been that I was “over-served”??), McGyver and I are heading up to Montgomery tomorrow morning to take Uncle Jr. to another Physical Therapy appointment…You might know they are predicting snow starting tomorrow night…4-8 “ of the stuff.  We should be safely tucked in at home before it begins…I plan on stopping and picking up a Papa John’s pizza on the way home…NO COOKING TOMORROW!!!!…NADA, ZIP, ZILCH, ZERO …ME NO LIKEY, ME NO DO!!!

Uncle Jr., riding his “bike” at P.T….Tomorrow he is definitely getting his hair cut…I’m putting on my “hairdresser” cap…and sprucing him upSend a kiss!! Thanks for checking in…Remember that you were forewarned about all of those Cave family mug shots….There is NOTHING like a family get together to make one appreciate just how lucky we are!!

“This packrat has learned that what the next generation will value most is not what we owned, but the evidence of who we were and the tales of how we loved. In the end, it’s the family stories that are worth the storage.”” ~Ellen Goodman

    Howdy D&D,
HOW BIG ARE HIS HANDS??? He'd make a great 'bull-dogger'!! Those little ones are really growing up!!!
Chicken-Pizza & do-nuts sounds good to me!!! The snow will go and the wind will blow and Donna will wear an 'odd' outfit!!! Uncle Jr. looks like he's enjoying his PT sessions; just not the 'gettin' ' there!!!
Hope y'all get home before the next blizzard!!!!!!!!!!!!
